Our Team

Pastor Jared tries his best to lead the flock at MVBC by following the Bible and the leadership of the Holy Spirit. Pastor's greatest desire is to see folks saved, and the body of Christ strengthened. He likes to say, "Church, we need to focus on the Field and the Flock."

Pastor Jared loves his family. His wife, Mrs. Breanna, is loved by the congregation and is an incredible help to Pastor in the ministry at MVBC. Together, they share musical talents, singing and playing in church meetings both near and far. They have two growing boys, Davis and Barrett.

Pastor was saved at an early age of 6. His dad, Rev. Bruce Graham, pastors the Canaan Baptist Church of Salisbury, NC (CBC). It was there in 2001, that Rev. Bruce, and Mrs. Pam (Pastor's mom), led Jared to the Lord. As years went on, Jared began to play music, sing, and to lead the choir at CBC. At the age of 15, God called Pastor Jared to preach. After many years of growing in this calling, he served as the Asst. Pastor at CBC for around 5 years. In that time, Pastor Jared grew in the ministry, helped in operation of CBC, and began to preach out in revivals and youth meetings. In November of 2021, MVBC called upon Bro. Jared to become their Pastor. He has been serving there faithfully since. 

Pastor Jared is incredibly grateful to the Lord for his goodly heritage, in which his grandfather is a deacon at a local church, 2 of his uncles are pastors, his dad is a pastor, his father-in-law is an evangelist, and 2 of his brothers-in-law are preachers as well. Pastor desires that his sons will be saved at an early age and hopes they will pursue a calling of God for their lives as well. 

Pastor's life verse is: 1 Samuel 17:45 “Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.”
